C.J. Ellisson is an aspiring New York Times bestselling author of erotic urban fantasy. She lives near Washington DC with her husband, two children, two Staffordshire bull terriers and a young cat to whom she’s newly allergic. After spending most of her working life associated with real estate — as a loan officer, regional sales manager, corporate trainer, Realtor and property manager — she’s now pursuing a new passion of writing fiction. It’s been a wild ride since February 2009 between contests, facebook fan pages, learning Second Life, writing guilds (RWA and SinC), critique groups, self-editing, workshops, query letters, synopses, website design and shameless self-promotion.
